There’s a place for serious introspection and goal-setting to fulfill one’s purpose in life. And then there’s this (from The Late Late Show with James Corden, featuring Meghan Trainor):
Sometimes you just gotta take care of your own state of mind and have a little fun. Laughing, singing, dancing, and music all release dopamine and provide a boost of joy and aliveness, especially if you’re feeling under stress.
There’s a lot to do this year:
- taking care of ourselves, getting enough rest and play and love
- finding our purpose and aiming for goals that are important to us
- providing whatever love and support we can to our family and friends
- caring about our community
- building a better world
